Shutterbench is made by David — a solo developer who has spent years building tools photographers actually use. His first workshop,lightroom-tools.com, makes Lightroom Classic plugins that thousands of photographers run every day: face tagging, grid planning, Google Photos sync. All sold the same old-fashioned way — pay once, own it.

That workshop covers the editing desk. Shutterbench covers everything else: the napkin math before you quote a wedding, the drive you buy before the season, the light you promise a client, the print you dare to sell at 40 inches. The unglamorous half of the job — the half that pays.

Why the tools are free

The calculators cost nothing because they should cost nothing — they're arithmetic with good manners. They run entirely in your browser; we never see your numbers, your gear list or your locations. No account, no trial, no "unlock full results".

The workshop earns its keep the honest way: occasionally we build something bigger — desktop software worth paying for once.
